On February 9th, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will enjoy an in-school visit from acclaimed author Lauren Tarshis. Known for her I Survived series, Ms. Tarshis will captivate students with stories about her writing journey, where she gets her ideas, and how history can come alive through books. All students will receive an autographed book, provided by the VP PTA. (Books have been pre-ordered and will come home with students after school on the 9th)

The yearbook is looking for photos to fill its pages! We are looking for pictures from VP Gives Thanks, the Winter Concert, and the December Walking Bus. Please email your photos to vpesyearbook@gmail.com. 

Did you know that when accidents happen at school, Nurse McDevitt not only offers bandages and medicine but spare clothing too?

The office keeps a small stock of shirts, pants, socks, and underwear for when students need a quick change due to an unexpected accident. 

If you're able, please consider donating gender-neutral sweatpants, girls' leggings in neutral colors, t-shirts, and socks in a variety of sizes. Clothes can be new or used (if used, must be freshly laundered and in good condition.) Please send them in a gallon zip-top bag. 

Your contribution helps ensure every student can stay comfortable and confident throughout the school day.
